MBN TV Ranking for Girls Groups


Maeil Broadcasting Network or just MBN TV released a ranking list of girls groups this past April 24th. The ranking its based in the number of member of respective Fan Cafes. 

1.- Girls’ Generation (Debut 2007) – 245,447 fans.
2.- A Pink (Debut 2011) – 86,596  fans.
3.- Wonder Girls (Debut 2007) – 80,579 fans.
4.- 2NE1 (Debut 2009) – 74,090 fans.
5.- f(x) (Debut 2009) – 62,316 fans.
6.- Girl’s Day (Debut 2010) – 48,245 fans.
7.- KARA (Debut 2007) – 45,602 fans.
8.- Brown Eyed Girls (Debut 2006) – 37,596 fans.
9.- 4minute (Debut 2009) – 34,645 fans.
10.- Miss A (Debut 2010) – 33,713 fans.
11.- SECRET (Debut 2009) – 28,168 fans.
12.- SISTAR (Debut 2010) – 25,342 fans.
13.- T-ara (Debut 2009) – 25,158 fans.
14.- Davichi (2008) – 23,677 fans.
15.- After School (Debut 2009) – 19,397 fans.
16.- AOA (Debut 2012) – 10,928 fans.
17.- Crayon Pop (Debut 2012) – 10,603 fans.

Girls' Genretion hold the first place with more than  240 000 registered fans and its also one of the oldest groups from second generation of K-Pop Girls Groups. Its also the oldest group with all their original members so far.

The newest groups are AOA and Crayon Pop and both are in the bottom of the list. But another relative new group holds the second place; A Pink debuted in 2011.
