KARA Project Round 6: Young Ji Final Winner!!!

KARA project is over and the winner was Young Ji!

After 6 weeks of trainning and live performances the fans favorite Young Ji rieses as the queen of KARA Project.

As the logic said So Min was the second place. The judges favorite got few Global votes (less than the 50% possibles) but that perfect judges score was enough to grab the second place and a spot in KARA.

In the other hand So Jin was so so close to get a spot in KARA.With only 70 points difference from So Min she finished the contest in third place.

KARA Project Round 5: So Jin Win

The result of Round 5 of  KARA Project are here and the Top3 battle continues.

The first place goes to So Jin. Taking the lead for second time she leaves behind the other Top3 girls Young Ji and So Min. This week So Jin got almost... almost a total perfect score.  She convinced the judges this time and got an impressive perfect score with them. Also got a perfect score with Live votes. So Jin impressed all in the 5th episode's live performance. 

In second place we have Young Ji. Improved one spot this time thanks to the Global votes again, and that will be probably the "winner card" for her. Young Ji its with no doubt the "Global favorite", and with the new voting system for the final round, Young Ji have a great opportunity to grab a place in KARA.

And in the thirth place we have a So Min. One of the judges favorites, this girl changed places every week, but never left the Top3. Another solid contestant.

The final round will start in just a matter of hours from now. With the new voting system for the last round (50% Judges - 50% Global), its even more clear which girls have an opportunity to win a spot in KARA.

My two cents:

As I can see, and with the new voting system, Young Ji and So Min have the best possibilities to enter KARA. Both girls have the support of the judges and most of the fans. Also have the charm and talent necessaries for KARA (as rookies of course).

But... So Jin proved the last two weeks that she have the necessary to give us a surprise. So Jin can surprise us with an epic "Photo Finish".

The new KARA members selection its up to you; Final match 50%-50%

According to an official announcement the final voting round to select the new KARA members will change a little. So far the votes are divided in 4: Judges Votes, Pre-votes, Live Votes and Global Votes. But now, for the last round the votes are divided in 2: Judges and Global. No local votes this time.

Fans from all around the world with a LINE account can participate and select the new KARA members.

In the last weeks the Global votes "Queen" has been Young Ji. And the Judges votes "Queen" has been So Min.

KARA Project Round 4: So Min Win

The results for the 4th week of KARA Project are here and we have some suprises.

For first time in the contest So Min takes the first place. (We did it at last!)

Always in the top3 So Min improved a lot. She is one of the judges favorites but was a little week with the Pre and Local votes, although she was also strong with the Global votes. This week So Min conviced the local fans at last and that put her in first place this round.

The second place goes to So Jin. Another top3 strong contestant. This round was pay back time, she not only improved her position this week, but also left behind Young Ji. So Jin still have problems with the local votes, but she still in the fight.

And the thirth place goes to Young Ji. The strongest contestant fell big this week. She is strong with the Global votes, but looks like local votes are giving her some problems. Anyway she still in the fight.

With only 2 weeks remaining this looks like a "3-people" contest. The big 3 : So Min, So Jin and Young Ji, are giving a good fight. The other KARA Babies looks far behind.

Let see next week if this 3 girls keep the pace.

KARA Project Round 3: Young Ji Winner.

The results of KARA Project Round 3 (week 3) are here.

Young Ji return to first place and still the most solid and strong Baby KARA member so far. This ranking its the first with a real judges voting, because this week was the first Young Ji performed on stage with the other Baby KARA members. She is not the best according to the judges, but even so Young Ji got a very good score.

So Min got the second place this week. She was the best according to judges getting a Perfect Score this week. She got a good score in general, except for the Global Votes. So Min still as a very strong contestant.

So Jin fell from first place to third place this week. Her total score changed a little from last weeks, but the TOP2 members improved so she fell a lot in the ranking.

Young Ji and So Min are the strongest members so far. But some other members can give a surprise. 

Members like Chae Kyung and Chae Won are members that can give a surprise, but they need to get more votes quick, starting the next week. If they dont they are practically out. 

Young Ji : 22 734 Total score after 3 weeks.

So Min:    21 940 Total score after 3 weeks.

So Jin:      21 232 Total score after 3 weeks.
